Christmas Eve

Our "new" family tradition is as follows: Parker opens presents from mom and dad all throughout Christmas Eve day, this gives him time to play with each new toy, and dad some time to put toys together. Then we go to Grandma & Grandpa C's house for Christmas Eve dinner and presents. Santa Obviously come Christmas morning, then we go to Grandma & Grandpa O's house for Christmas Day..... One of Parker's presents was a play-doh burger making station......this is what we created for daddy for lunch!
He got a nerf dart tag set with safety goggles....
Some lego's of course....
Two lightsabers that light up and make noise and can be joined together to make a long spinning lightsaber!
At Grandma & Grandpa C's house we had our traditional lasagna for dinner and he got more lego's, a bunch of x-box and wii games, a star wars bed set, some movies, a cool new set of army clothes, a clock, and probably a bunch of stuff I can't remember!!
Thanks everyone!!

Today at school the kids got to build gingerbread houses, daddy got to go to school again today and help out.Parker built a gingerbread house at his grandma & grandpa O's house over the weekend and he really enjoyed it....
He was pretty much a pro this time around, they made mini gingerbread houses....
Daddy said the chimney idea was all Parker's idea, and I thought it was an awesome feature of the house!!

Limo!!

Thanks to everyone who purchased stuff from Parker's school fundraiser, he was one of the lucky few who got to ride in the Hummer Limo!! He was very excited, and very proud that he was the only kindergartner that got to go!
Since daddy has a few weeks off of work, he got to go too!!
They took the limo to a bakery and got to pick out donuts and milk and eat them on the way back to school.

Can you see the joy on his face??!!!
Thank you everyone!!

First snow of the year

Well, the snow has come a little early for my liking this year, but the boy is happy. It's not even 8:00 am and he is outside....
He spent 45 minutes out there this time...
...and went out 2 more times today for 45 minutes each.
He and daddy built 2 snowmen, and hope to have the backyard full of them by the time winter is over!!

Zombieland

Parker decided to be a zombie for Halloween this year. Easy costume, we just took some of his clothes that were stained or too small and smeared then in the mud and put red food coloring on them. He actually did quite well having his face painted and leaving it alone. The church that Parker went to preschool had a "trunk-or-treat" going on. We had never done one before but it was pretty cool. There were about 25 cars that all had their trunks decorated and we just stopped by each truck and he got candy!
Each trunk had a different theme, this one was a puppet show.
After he hit all the trunks we went inside and had snacks and there was a giant bouncer that he got to play in.
After the church Parker, daddy and Lee went around the neighborhood and he filled his bucket for a second time. Lots of candy!!

Up North

We FINALLY made it up North to Grandma & Grandpa C's land. We sure wish we would have gone up sooner!! We had a blast!!Parker insisted on wearing his orange sweatshirt he got from Nana & Papa because he knows that's what you wear up North. He also brought his rifle to go deer or bear hunting....
There are 7 (I think) deer stands up North, this one is Nana's, and Parker climbed to the top...
What we were all excited about was the 4 wheelers!! Parker rode with Papa, mommy & daddy rode together and Nana rode by herself.....
Papa said Parker chattered the whole time we were gone, and he was soooo excited, the boy couldn't keep the smile off his face!
Along the way we had to stop a couple times to clear the paths, Parker sat this one out...
You can barely see Parker and daddy up ahead of Papa's 4 wheeler, they were clearing the path...
When we got back Parker had to try out the one mommy and daddy were riding....
.......and daddy had to try out the one Papa and Parker were riding....
We're thinking we might even try to get over our hatred of wood ticks and go up there more often next summer!! We had soooo much fun!!!!

Spider Man??

We went to the Keller Williams annual party again this year. We sent the boy off to have his face painted, this is what he came back as....can you say messy???? Yes, it really is spider man, but he insisted he was Darth Maul... We should have learned our lesson....about a year ago we were at Perkins with the Knight's and we sent the boys off to get their faces painted and this is what he came back as.....

Kindergarten!!!!

The boy is saying goodbye to the dogs on his first day of school....He seems pretty excited, and a little nervous!
We will be bringing him to school every day and he will be taking the bus home...
He got into a fantastic charter school and has all day, every day kindergarten. There was a lottery system to get in and he was on the waiting list but made it!!
He will have Spanish, gym, art, and music, all with different teachers than his regular teacher!
We can't believe our baby is all grown up!!!

State Fair

We had a blast at the state fair this year!! We went with Cousin Lee and we met Auntie Candi, Uncle Brian and Cousin Paige there....Parker absolutely LOVED the giant slide this year, I think he and daddy went on it 3 times....
He went on tons of rides too......something we weren't planning on, but Parker ended up LOVING rides and wanting to go on a bunch of them!

We already can't wait for next year!!
