Bye Bye Drew Avenue North

The day has arrived, we are finally moving.
Here is Parker in his empty room....
In mommy & daddy's empty room...
The living room.....
The dining room.....
The kitchen...
Parker's new favorite sentence is "Mommy (or daddy) I really, really, really, really, really, really don't want to move." I don't think he understands that it's a done deal.

We dropped Phoebe off at Grandma & Grandpa C's house to live until we move into our new house. I think she really likes her playmate Annie.

Packing & Moving

We spent the whole day finishing up packing and loading Grandma Jenny's truck (3 times) and the pod. We are almost done!! Parker has his bed on the floor now and very few toys.We have no kitchen table so we're eating dinner on the floor, kinda like a picnic! Parker is giving the thumb's up, he likes this new arrangement. We also only have 1 TV, and it's the small one, so we will be fighting over that for the next few days!
I feel kind of sad, Parker keeps telling us that he doesn't want to move. We keep assuring him that he is going to LOVE the new house, when we find one.

Summer Fun

It was HOT today!! I was busy packing all day so Dawn took the boys to some water park in St. Louis Park. She said Parker had a blast!! This place looks like fun, I can't wait to go....and it's free!!
I can't believe how much this kid loves water, but refuses to swim.
Thanks again Dawn!

Moving Sale

We had our moving sale this weekend and the boys decided to sell lemon-aid. Parker was an awesome salesman! He thanked everyone for stopping by too. It was pretty cute.Alex decided to take a break from playing with cousin Lee and work a shift at the stand. The boys made a couple dollars!! Some people just gave them money and didn't even take any lemon-aid.

Day Camp

Parker and Alex started Day Camp today. Unfortunately since we were having our moving sale I wasn't even able to bring him for his first day (thank you Dawn). The boys were particularly crazy today so Dawn wished the teachers good luck as she left.....Arts & Crafts? Really? My kid?? I can't get him to do them at home. Each week they have a theme and this week it was "Pets". Parker was singing some song about dogs and bones, and I guess they had "puppy chow" for a snack.....he had lots of fun.

Rock Star!

This kid is a natural. He usually hams it up a bit more but for some reason got a little shy when I turned on the camera. I gave this to him today because he has been so good while we have been packing and getting ready for our move. He loves it!

Tank Expo

Today Parker and daddy went to the Fort Snelling Military Museum and saw the Tank Expo!! Both of them were very excited! Parker wore the real Army clothes that he got for his birthday last year from Auntie Cathy. They saw a lot of different tanks and even got to go inside some.
There were also cool trucks there.

Parks got to sit in the drivers seat!!
Can you tell he was a little excited??

They got to see a tank run over a car and crush it, and daddy answered a trivia question correctly and won a free t-shirt! They also saw a fire truck and lots of "Army men" as Parker says it. He kept asking if the "Army men" were going to talk to him, Daddy said a few did!

Children's Museum

The Knight's have a season pass to the Children's Museum too so we headed out for a day of fun! First stop; face painting! It might not have been a good idea to do this first, the boys had to eat lunch, drink beverages, and play with all the other exhibits all the while getting face paint all over their clothes and hands! It started off pretty mellow.....
But, SURPRISE!!! What else would you expect from these two??
Parker was a hobo and Alex was a tiger (in case you couldn't tell).

This was something new that Parker didn't get to do last time, but he only had about 2.5 minutes to do it because they were cleaning up.
Parks spent a huge amount of time in the "grocery store". Poor kid could never get his hands on a cart until the very end. He kept loading up his basket and dumping it in other kids carts though.
This is something else he didn't do last time, there is a stage and music and the kids can see themselves on TV while performing. He LOVED it, but he wasn't the best at sharing the guitar.
Another new thing we did was go outside on the rooftop. The boys pretended they were working and their job was to paint the rocks. They were ordering other kids around too, just like they owned the place! Don't worry, we made them share!
Last stop, the water tables, this time I was smart though and put an apron on the kid right away. He only got a little soaking wet this time.
He had tons of fun, and was way over tired for the rest of the night.

Last day of school

Today was Parker's last day of school so after school daddy took Parker to a place they call "Echo Bridge". Boys & rocks, I don't really get it. But they have fun!!
