Parker LOVES popcorn. I have to make it every Saturday when we watch iCarly, he begs for it every time we go to Target, and now Grandpa C has this super cool new popcorn maker, so I'm sure Grandma will have to make it every time we go there..... Patiently waiting...... Anything yet?
Helping Grandma scoop it out....
It was yummy too. Guess we didn't get a picture of him eating it.
We went to the Minnesota Zoo today with Dawn and Alex and we decided to buy season passes! The boys had a fun time running around and looking at all the animals... Parker really liked looking at the sharks..... .....they ran off ahead of us and through the bamboo...
All day Parker was begging to go on the monorail, I thought he was going to explode with excitement! There was a yellow line painted on the floor that they weren't allowed to cross, in case you can't tell, it was killing them!
Once on the monorail they were far more interested in a little tiny hole by the door than they were in most of the animals!
There was a tank that you could touch sharks and stingrays, but the boys were just a tad bit too short to reach any of them, but they sure had fun trying....and playing in the water.
We ended up going into a Discovery Room where the kids could wear animal costumes and play with different toys. Parker was fascinated with the Veterinary stuff and was giving shots to all the animals and performing surgery on them. This was all he wanted to do which surprised me because there were a bunch of kids running around in circles chasing each other which he is normally all about!
The morning started off with Parker giving me a wonderful card that he and daddy made for me, it is awesome and I love it! Then Parker wanted to give daddy the Transformer's candy and Sponge Bob Crabby Patty candy that he picked out for him.. Then we gave Parker his Sponge Bob Lego's and everyone was happy! For dinner we decided to go to Perkin's and have a nice family Valentine's Day dinner... When we were about to leave our waitress came up to us and said that some man had won this red monkey that says 'I Love You' on it out of the crane machine and the man asked the waitress to give it to the cute little boy sitting in the booth. Yup, that cute little boy was Parker!
Parker and daddy went sledding today and made lots of snowballs and threw them at each other!Once again their gloves were wet and cold and they had to come home after a short time...
Daddy took Parker to the river tonight. They didn't stay for very long because they both had cold wet gloves from playing in the snow! After the river they went to Burger King and Parker met some new friends and played in the playland.
