Future Rock Star?

Cousin Lee was over all week for spring break, Parks was happy about that! Today Lee brought RockBand over and Parker tried his hand at singing and playing drums.

Best Friend Alex

After dinner we met Alex and his mommy up at the mall and played in the play area for about an hour. Daddy actually got to come tonight and meet Alex! The boys ran around like crazy as usual. Today when I asked Parker if Alex was his best friend he said "um.....yeah!" I am so glad the 2 play so well together.

Happy Easter!

The Easter Bunny came! Parker got "It's The Easter Beagle Charlie Brown" and "Finding Nemo" DVDs, a giant chick head, a Snoopy car with candy in it and 3 eggs with candy in them! He was very excited, especially about the chick head, which he napped with and is now sleeping with, and the snoopy car which he played with all day. Here he is with the Snoopy car.....

Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa O's house for Easter Lunch and he got a new dump truck, a Lego mug with his name on it and some candy and snacks. He also got to spend some time with his cousin Jennifer (in the green) and his Aunt Shawn who live in Pennsylvania. He acted like his normal crazy self all day!

Crazy Boys!

We decided to skip swimming today and we met Alex and Dawn at the mall. Parker and Alex were absolutely crazy for an hour in the kids play area. They were chasing each other around and going up and down the slide and tackling each other and Alex was pinning Parker on the ground like a professional wrestler! It was madness! But they had fun. Then we walked, well, Parker and Alex ran through the mall and we kept yelling "STOP!" or "RED LIGHT!" when they would get to far ahead of us. It was cute, they would stand frozen until we caught up and told them they could run again. We made our way to Barnes and Noble so they could play with the train table and we looked at books.
Then we spent some time riding on all the different cars.
After that we went to McDonald's and had lunch and the boys continued being goof-balls!

Happy Easter/Birthday Cousin Lee

What an eventful day! We had another open house today so we had to leave for the day. We ended up at the Albertville Mall to look for shoes for Parker and he HAD to ride on the car! Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa C's house to celebrate Easter and Cousin Lee's birthday (which was March 6th). Because we had to be gone from our house so long we tried having Parker take a nap at Grandma & Grandpa's house. It actually worked! Maybe because daddy slept with him......Parker got an Easter basket from Grandma & Grandpa and he got the 101 Dalmatian's movie and Grandma made him a shirt with Woody from Toy Story on it! He also got some candy and other stuff too! We ate lots of good food and then headed home.

We went to the pool again today. Alex and Ian were there too! Parker played very nice today and wasn't scared to go to the "deep" end of the pool. After swimming Parker and Alex decided to hide in the lockers, we had to pull them out so we could go home, they were having so much fun sitting in there with the doors closed!

We took a little family trip to the Community Center again tonight. This was Parker's 3rd trip there this week (Grandma Jenny took him Thursday). This time daddy was in the water with him, and Park's was brave enough to go all the way to the deep end and he was practicing jumping off the side into daddy's arms, kicking his legs, and sticking his head into the water. He had a great time!This is our little monkey after he got out of the pool!

Today we went to the Brooklyn Center Community Center with our friends Alex, Jonas, Ivy and their mom's and Ian and his dad. Parker was a little nervous at first but quickly got over it and was even sticking his face in the water. It is a zero depth pool that you can just walk into and it's only 2 feet deep at the end. I used to go to this community center all the time with my mom when I was little and I took swimming lessons there. It was fun to bring Parker.This is after he got a little more comfortable. He was running around like a maniac and pushing all the toys in the water too!

Snoopy

Tonight after dinner we all went to Brookdale and Parker rode on the Snoopy Cars and played in the play area. He has developed quite a love for Snoopy and even Charlie Brown. He has most, if not all, of the Charlie Brown TV specials on DVD and loves to watch them. He had a ton of fun in the play area tonight too! There were about 6-8 other kids playing and 2 little boys that were his age. They all chased each other around and went down the slide. It was fun to watch!
