Sledding!!!

It was 38 degrees out today!!! Yahoo!! We headed off to a big hill that daddy used to go sledding on as a kid and Parker had a blast!! Every time they came up the hill he would say "just 1 more time" they probably went about 20 times, and even got mommy to go once!! All day the boy kept saying "I really like sledding!"
I wish every Minnesota day could be this warm!

Merry Christmas Eve!!

We decided to let Parker open the presents from us throughout the day today. The first one he opened was Zurg from Toy Story and as you can see, he is wearing his Park Ranger Uniform, he asked for it right when he woke up. We also got him some Star Wars pajamas, Spider man pajamas, walkie talkies, digital camera, Star Wars Lego's, Batman & Joker figures, Army helmet, and who knows what else.....can't remember! After nap we went to Grandma & Grandpa C's house for dinner and presents. We had lasagna for dinner and you can see it on Parker's shirt! He got so many toys from the family....
An Army Tank, tools,
Coloring book, Star Wars Action figures, shirts, pajamas, Matchbox Mars Mission, Star Wars Clone Wars DVD, a hat with his initials on it that nana made him, candy...I'm probably forgetting a bunch of stuff.
Even though we got home past bed time we let him stay up and play with a few toys!

Thanks for the presents everyone! Parker loves everything!

After 2 loooong hours.......

We finally got to see Santa!!! What a crazy night! We normally go to Brookdale to see Santa, but this year he wasn't coming to Brookdale so we had to head to Northtown. It was insane!! 2 hours of standing in line, for 20 seconds of sitting on Santa's lap. But Parker was very happy and excited.

When we were almost to Santa there was a little area where some of the kids burned off some steam after standing in line for an hour and fifty minutes.....Parker was sweaty and red after this, his hair even looks wet in his Santa picture.

Blizzard!!

Well, maybe not a blizzard, but lots of snow and wind! Daddy and Parker walked up to CVS and then played in the front yard for a while, and in the back for a while. It was very cold so they couldn't play outside for long.
Here's a video of Park's in the snow.....you can hear him say 2 of his most commonly used phrases......"Sorry snow", when he crashes into it (usually says "sorry ______" several times a day) and "never mind!"

Winter at the river!!

It was 37 degrees so Daddy took Parker to the river today! They didn't stay long because it was a little windy and their hands got cold from making snowballs. The lower part of the river was blocked off so they couldn't go down (and the worry wart in me was thankful for this). They threw snowballs off the Stone Arch Bridge and watched the 55 ducks that were gathered on the ice. While they were on the bridge a car full of obviously lost people drove over the bridge (it is only a pedestrian bridge). So, they had quite an exciting day.
Then Parker made snow angels and they decided it was time to come home.

Uncle Brian and baby Paige came over today. Parker was very excited to take out the baby Lego's and play them with Paige. He was a little distracted by the big bucket of Toy Story toys uncle Brian brought over though!!

Parker passed his swimming class and will be starting "Little 2's" in January!!

Brookdale & Burger King!

We met Dawn & Alex at Brookdale and the kids played with the trains at Barne's & noble for a bit.....then we walked around the mall and went to the play area....I tried to get Parker to pose for a nice picture that I could use for Christmas cards.......You'll have to wait and see what we came up with! The boys met a little girl in the play area who was there with her grandpa, he wouldn't let her take her socks off so she couldn't get up the slide (for sanitary reasons you aren't supposed to take your socks off, but then you can't do anything fun!!) The boys found a way to get her up there!
Then we went to Burger King for lunch and it is the first time ever that Parker ate all of his chicken nuggets.....he climbed up to the top and was scared to come down....after we coaxed him down he kept going up and had a blast!

Uncle Larry

We went to Grandma & Grandpa O's house tonight to meet Uncle Larry, mor mor's brother. Parker played with his trucks and cars and the dogs and ran around like crazy.... His first milk mustache! Hard to see, I know....

Parker, daddy and Uncle Larry. Parker seemed really comfortable with Uncle Larry and really seemed to like him.
