Ooops

See how far the window is from the bed? Parker tried to look out the window from bed and fell. We were all going to take a lovely Sunday afternoon nap and all of a sudden there was a huge thud followed by crying. I had just fallen asleep but heard it and ran to his room. This is what happened. Can you see the tears streaming down his little face? Poor baby. He said he is never going to do that again and if he wants to see something he will climb down his ladder and look. Later while playing outside he fell and hurt his hands. Poor kid didn't have a very good day.

Visitors

Today Auntie Candi, Uncle Brian and Baby Paige came over and spent some time with us and had dinner with us. Parker and Paige played in the playroom and had fun together. Parker was fascinated with Uncle Brian's safety goggles and wore them all night long!

Lego Land

Took a family trip to the Mall of America today and brought Parker to Lego Land for his first visit. He was amazed at all the Lego's and had fun, but there were too many people there so we didn't stay for long.
Parker also had fun riding all the escalators and elevators in the mall!

Somersault??

Parker and I have been practicing doing a somersault, I don't know why as it creeps me out and I feel like he is going to break his neck. Today he decided that he could do it all by himself.....so, here he is doing a somersault....sort of.

Trains

Grandma & Grandpa C took Parker on a little trip to their friend's The Arnold's house who live in Annandale (I think). They have tons of trains, but as Parker told me, they are not toys, just to look at. He has told me 10 times how he got to stand on a bucket and watch the trains...... He also loved this car that he got to ride around in.
He ate lunch over there and played with the puppy and they even gave him a little toy police car to bring home which he has carried around with him and even sleeps with. He said he had lots of fun!

Coolest mommy ever!

60 degrees today! Parker and I went for a little walk and this is where we ended up, and when he told me that I'm the coolest mommy ever for letting him do it!

Is it Spring yet?

Today while I was at work Daddy and Parker went to the Stone Arch Bridge and took about an hour and a half walk around Minneapolis.....it was a gorgeous 50 degrees!! I guess Parker just wanted to keep on going and daddy just let him....Daddy got a parking ticket today. When did they start enforcing meters on weekends???
After the boys got up from nap we grilled some steak and brats and Parker played in the back yard.

Last day of swimming

Swimming lessons are done for this session and we decided to take Spring and Summer sessions off. The boy was a Rock Star on the first day of this session, and today on the last day he was awesome.....however, he cried every other time we came this session and didn't want to go and was "too scared" to try anything and he just wasn't having fun at it. We decided that we will take him swimming indoors and outdoors and try to get him more comfortable and try again in the fall. Now he tells me that he is sad swimming is over and he will miss it. Go figure!

Zach Zach He's a Lego Maniac!

Parker doesn't rhyme well with that old song I remember from commercials when I was younger, but he too is a Lego Maniac. Check out this airplane that he built all by himself with no help and his own imagination! Think of the things he and daddy will create in the future!!

Happy Birthday Cousin Lee!!!

Cousin Lee is 13! We went to Dave & Buster's to celebrate with him. Here is daddy, Parker, and Lee racing.....Here is Parker on a different racing game....he didn't even need any money in the games, he just had fun pretending.
He wasn't the best behaved little boy today.....he refused to eat dinner because he wanted to play and therefore had to be physically restrained the whole time we were eating! Ha! 3 year olds!

He did however want cake.....

Whatever.....it was a birthday party......no dinner, just cake!

Cabela's

We headed off to Cabela's with Dawn & Alex. Parker took a ton of pictures, a few of his best are below.... The boys (especially Parker) were obsessed with the guns, and I swear every time you turn around they have one of those games with the guns where you hunt animals.....it was hard to tear him away...I decided I am not too worried about it, it seems every boy is or was obsessed with guns. Matt said he loved guns when he was little and he isn't a crazy maniac serial killer!
Sitting on some animals. I wonder if the workers at Cabela's are annoyed with people who bring their kids in to "play" at the store. Dawn and I sat in lounge chairs while the boys ran around and played in tents. It was quite relaxing.

Interesting day....

We went and visited my friend Kim today and her new baby girl Elspeth who was born February 17th. Parker had so much fun over there playing with toys and playing with Kim's husband Quillan. Parker brought a few of his books that he really liked when he was a baby and gave them to the new baby. I know, he is sooooooo sweet.This is a picture of Parker and his friend Rocky (wink, wink). Rocky lives in Plymouth, and Parker has only been to his house once (Kim lives in Plymouth and we have only been to her new house once). Rocky is nice and likes to shake hands when he meets you. He was going to spend the night but decided to go home at the last minute.
Also....just today, Parker has decided that he loves to take pictures. He took about 90, but here is a sampling of his work.
