Race Car!!

There was a race car in the parking lot at Cub today so daddy took Parker over there to see it, he was super excited!After they saw the car they went and explored a bridge that we have never been to and they walked across it and on some trails in the park.....

Minnehaha Falls

It was a gorgeous day out and daddy had the day off so we headed to Minnehaha Falls with 2/3 of the Knights. We were there a couple hours and did a lot of walking and a lot of rock throwing.

The boys climbed up this huge hill and Matt had to go up top and walk them down, they were so excited that we let them climb it!

Both Alex and Parker were complaining the whole walk back that they were tired and Parker said his knees hurt, and his feet hurt...he sounded like a 90 year old man. The boys were carried most of the way back.

After the Falls we headed to McDonald's for lunch and the boys made a miraculous recovery and were able to play in the play land...hmm, imagine that.

I think we will be spending a lot of time at Minnehaha Falls this summer!

Great Grandma Marie

Today the whole family, including Phoebe went and visited Great Grandma and watched a little of the Twins game with her. Parker had fun playing with the toy trucks and sneaking candy from her candy dish!

Eventful Day!

We went back to the Community Center pool after about a year off! Since we decided to not put Parker in swimming lessons this session we still want him to be in the water and get more comfortable with it. Alex is a fish in the water and I was hoping it would rub off on Parker....but, no. Parker did seem more comfortable than last year though. There is a park that we can see while swimming and it was such a beautiful day that we headed over to it for about an hour and a half!
The boys don't always get along this great, but it's nice when they do!

After daddy got home from work we headed down to the river.....

Here they are gathering rocks to throw in the river, they could do it for hours...

You've got to be kidding me.....

We met Dawn & Alex at McDonald's for lunch and the boys played for an hour and 40 minutes.....sorry Mickey D's, I know it clearly states on the door to limit your time to 30 minutes! But, there were always open tables so we didn't feel too bad. After daddy got home and after dinner we went outside to play with the Bubble Rocket.....check out the new face injury. This one was my fault, I launched the rocket that came down and hit my baby in the face. Seriously. Will it ever end?
After playing outside we went to home depot for the 5th time in a week and a half...this time to return stuff.....after that we went and found a charter school that we are going to tour on Thursday and see if we like enough to send Parker to for kindergarten since we probably will still be living here :(

Happy Easter

The Easter bunny came!! Parker got a Scooby Doo movie, a Star Wars shirt, Bubble Rocket and some candy!

We went to Grandma & Grandpa O's house for Easter and Auntie Shawn, her friend Ann and Great Aunt Lina were there. Parker was the star of the day entertaining everyone. Here he is playing with one of his Easter toys.

It's River Time Again!

While I was at work Matt & Parker did what they both love doing best.....they went to the river!In fact, they went twice!
They went in the morning, came home for lunch and then went back!

Daddy let's Parker do stuff he really shouldn't do! Like go into construction zones and sit on equipment.....but, he loves it!

Zoo, Zoo, Zoo

Went to the Zoo again with the Knight's....This time we tried to do a few things we didn't do last time, like explore the Minnesota stuff (can't remember the exact name for that section, Minnesota Trail maybe?)

Seriously......

Got a call from Parker's teacher today about 20 minutes before school was over......He tripped and fell and hit his cheek on the train table.....he still has scabs and scars from his bed injury 8 days ago! He looks like a mess....His teacher said he was very upset about it and then calmed down and wanted to play. He refused to go to the nurse, so the nurse had to come to him. I think he's gonna have a big bruise. His teacher commented on how tough he is!

Happy Early Easter

We went to Grandma & Grandpa C's house for an early Easter today but we had some time to kill because we had an open house at our house so we drove around a bit and found this old historic bridge in Hanover that is over the Crow River and it was scary, but we crossed it.Cousin Lee and baby Paige were there too....
Parker begged Nana to make him popcorn in Grandpa's cool popcorn machine, he was the only one who wasn't sickly full.....so he ate by himself.

When we got home we played outside for a bit and Parker got so dirty he had to go straight into the tub. He came up with this little pose all by himself!
